Ramón Allones Absolutos Edición Limitada 2024 Cigar Review

June 5, 2025 Usman Dawood 2 min read

The Ramon Allones Absolutos 2024 Limited Edition is a new Cuban release generating buzz among collectors and enthusiasts. Launched in Basel, Switzerland, it brings bold character and refined complexity in a classic 47 ring gauge format.

Released by Intertabak earlier this year, this limited edition cigar measures 6 3/8 inches long and comes in distinctive green Ramon Allones branding. It was also part of a collaboration with S.T. Dupont, who designed a matching cigar case for the launch event, believed to be their first partnership with the brand.

In the video review below, we explore how this cigar performs after a few months of rest. Early impressions at launch were mixed due to a strong minerality, but resting it in a humidor has mellowed out the profile considerably. The result is a far more balanced smoke with notes of sweetness, oak, and even hints of baked goods coming through in the second half.

Draw and construction are also discussed in detail, with a firm draw throughout that may not suit everyone but proves ideal for those who enjoy resistance. The burn self corrects after an uneven start, and the ash is dense and white, suggestive of rich soil and good tobacco.

As for strength, despite Ramon Allones’ reputation for bold cigars, the Absolutos 2024 leans mild to medium, perhaps medium at its peak. This makes it approachable and easy to enjoy, especially in the evening or as a final cigar of the day.

Price is yet to be confirmed in the UK but is estimated around 40 to 45 euros in Europe, with a likely higher price tag domestically. Still, it appears to offer good value for a limited edition Cuban with aging potential.
