Davidoff Year of The Horse 2026 Cigar Review
Davidoff can be credited with pioneering the whole Chinese Zodiac series for the cigar industry. Currently, Davidoff is the only company on the market that has completed the whole series of 12 releases. We’re now in the second year of the second series of Zodiac cigars from the company, and the latest release is the Year of the Horse 2026.
The Davidoff Year of the Horse 2026 is a unique cigar for two reasons. First of all, the blend of this cigar contains aged tobacco, unlike its predecessor. Additionally, this cigar boasts a completely unique vitola for Davidoff. With a length of 6 1/2″ and a ring gauge of 55, this size has never previously been used by Davidoff. The size of this cigar is also unlike many other Davidoff cigars because of how large it is. Generally speaking, Davidoff tends to make more elegant vitolas, however, considering this cigar is representing a horse, the larger size makes sense.
Having said that, the presentation of this cigar is most certainly elegant. Each year, Davidoff produces incredible works of art for its Zodiac series of cigars. Cigars such as the Year of the Tiger and the Year of the Dragon were beautiful examples of this. However, with the Year of the Horse, Davidoff has opted for a more tame and elegant presentation. But of course, for many people a cigar is judged entirely on how it performs when you smoke it, and in our latest review we specifically test this aspect of the cigar.
In the video below we review the cigar to see how well it smokes, covering aspects like flavour, construction, and whether or not we recommend this cigar. Check out the full review to see how this cigar performs.
