Marty’s Cigar & Divan (Glendora, CA)

Marty’s Cigar and Divan was conceived by George (Marty) Wynne as a serious haven for cigar and pipe smokers. He spent six months preparing the store and lounge then opened in 1996 in the height of the ’90s “cigar boom”. Marty’s knowledge of cigars in particular came from his many years of sampling the world’s greatest cigars and making study and research of the market a priority hobby.

The main Divan comprises 1000 square feet of carefully humidified, temperature controlled space that houses one of the largest cigar selections in Southern California. The attention to quality control of the condition of the thousands of cigars in stock is, in part, what has made Marty’s customers avidly loyal. There are several seating areas in the lounge that are used for business and personal meetings, card and board games, television viewing, and general relaxation. Wireless internet connectivity allows for work or play with portable computers.
