Cigarre 77 heading to the U.K.

Cigare 77 is a brand from Costa Rica and currently only for sale in France, Switzerland, Germany and the USA as far as we know. But that will change soon. At the end of the year, or at the start of 2019, the cigar will become available in the U.K.

The brand saw the light of day in 2014 with help of master blender Marc Niehaus from Vegas de Santiago. The cigars are made at the factory of Niehaus in Costa Rica. The 77 in the brand name comes from the day the cigar was born, July 7th and the birth year of brand owner Laurent Taha. The filler is Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Peruvian. The binder and wrapper are Habano 2000 from Ecuador. And the cigar comes in three sizes. The ring has been designed by Taha and then redesigned with the help of Claudio Capuano. It’s a skull with a cigar in it’s mouth.

As we said, the cigars will become available for cigar aficionados in the United Kingdom at the end of the year or early 2019. We don’t know the prices yet, but we will keep you updated.
