Davidoff year of the pig coming

For almost a decade Davidoff has celebrated the Chinese new year with a ‘year of the’ cigar, always picking the animal of the Chinese zodiac calendar. This year they continue the tradition with the Davidoff Year of the Pig. And as always, it’s a limited edition.

The cigars, a 6×56 toro made from Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, a Mexican San Andres binder and a Habano wrapper from Ecuador, are expected to be released this month. Davidoff will release little over 9000 boxes of ten cigars. How many boxes are flowing into the international markets is not disclosed, but it’s expected that all Davidoff appointed merchants will be able to order a box.
