Les Fines Lames releases another limited edition
Les Fines Lames releases another limited edition. This time it’s a version with a black G10 handle. The production is limited to a hundred pieces.
The quality
G10 is a high-pressure fiberglass composite. It is a material used to make handles for knives, firearms, grips, and tools. G10 is durable, strong, and absorbs moisture. In the knife making industry, G10 is a praised material.
The blade is made from Mox27Co Stainless steel. That is top-quality stainless steel with tampered hardness. The blade is made in France and due to the techniques used, it’s almost impossible to dull. And a sharp knife means no damage to your precious cigars.
The design of the Piemont folding knife is registered. And well designed, even if you use it as a knife, you will never dull the cigar cutting part of the blade.
The size and availability
The cigar knife has an overall length of 204mm, and it’s 148mm when closed. The blade length is 88mm with a thickness of 3mm. The hole for your cigar has a diameter of 88mm. The total weight of the knife is 125 grams.
All Les Fines Lames limited editions come numbered. This limited edition is for sale on the Les Fines Lames website for €398.

Indiegogo
Les Fines Lames is an idea from two French cigar enthusiasts. Pablo Rodet and Pierre Jourdan. Their design of the knife is specifically to cater to cigar smokers. To be able to produce the first batch, they looked for funding. Indiegogo, a crowdfunding website, is the answer to their question. The response is overwhelming. The cigar knives are now well known in the cigar industry.
The production takes place in France, in Bordeaux. With super high-quality metal that is almost impossible to dull. The knives come with different finishes. According to Jourdan, Les Fines Lames is planning to offer many limited editions. The duo has wild ideas. Ideas that are coming to fruition in the next years, with collaborations and different designs.
