Another lounge opens in Malaysia

Another lounge opens in Malaysia. In the last few months, a few new cigar lounges have been opened in Kuala Lumpur. Now it’s time for a new lounge in Putrajaya. Putrajaya is located south of Kuala Lumpur, in between the city and Kuala Lumpur Airport.The new lounge, with the name The Humidor Malaysia, will open this Sunday. The opening party will include cigars, caviar, and a live roller. That will be the Indonesian master roller, Mr. Suhermanto.

Joshua Phua explained in a conversation with us why he and his business partners decided to open the lounge. “The cigar environment in KL is vibrant and growing. There is still a lot of room for expansion, so we would like to bring this environment to the Southern part of Klang Valley. Making it more convenient for cigar aficionados to acquire and smoke their preferred cigars.”

Cigars, art & caviar

The Humidor Malaysia will double as an art gallery for artists to display their work. More than a hundred different cigars are for sale. At least forty percent non-Cuban cigars. Brands like Oliva, A.J. Fernandez, Davidoff, and Rocky Patel will be found, next to Partagas, Cohiba and other Habanos brands. Next month, the Indonesian brand Sultan will be added to the selection of cigars. Humidor lockers are available for rent and include a free engraving. And for a unique pairing, come to The Humidor Malaysia. They are the first cigar lounge to offer a pairing with T’lur Tropical caviar. That is the first tropical caviar, farmed in Malaysia.

The Humidor Malaysia is located at M-G-05, Conezion @ IOI Resort City, Putrajaya, Wilayah Persekutuan. The opening hours are from 11 am to 11 pm on weekdays. On weekends, public holidays and the eve of a public holiday the lounge closes at midnight.

Other recently opened lounges

Other lounges that opened recently include Cigar Bar at Capital Towers and Cigar Malaysia’s new outlet at the 163 retail park. Cigar Emperor and J.W. Marriot partnered up to turn the J.W. Firehouse into a real cigar bar.
