Maya Selva hires new Chief Commercial Officer

Maya Selva hires new Chief Commercial Officer in Filippo Costi. He joins Maya Selva after a career in luxury watches and jewelry. But he’s been a cigar aficionado since the 1990s and has visited Cuba several times.

Costi, who has a doctorate in Architecture and Urban Design, starts today in his new position. He brings a great deal of professional experience in the areas of customer service, management, marketing and sales with him. 



“We are excited to have Filippo on board and we are sure his experience, knowledge and sales capabilities will complement our team. He will gladly have a tête-à-tête with you in English, Spanish, French or Italian.” Maya Selva said in a press release. Costi added “I believe the best definition of luxury is time, the time spent perfecting and building a product. In this way, cigars are one of the greatest expressions of luxury, because of the time it takes to collect the leaves, dry and ferment them, select and roll them, and bring them to the global market… and finally, the time spent enjoying a cigar and sharing one with friends”.
