Weekly news week 46 2019

May 11, 2022 Inspector Z 2 min read

Weekly news week 46 2019. The week started with an article on the Guayasamin Humidor. This limited edition, vintage, Cuban humidor headlines a special as two out of the fifty ever made were sold to collectors last week. And we reviewed two cigars this week. The first one was the Balmoral Serie Signaturas Paso Doble Brindis, a collaboration between Royal Agio and La Flor Dominicana. We also reviewed the Bossner Black Edition Torpedo.

The news

Alec Bradley’s Fine & Rare, the yearly limited edition with ten different tobaccos, is coming to Switzerland. This year, the cigar is a tribute to Alan Rubin’s father who passed away a year ago. Denmark will see some new cigars too, including the Indian Motorcycle Connecticut and the limited editions from Maria Mancini and Casa de Torres. Plus a new line from Perdomo Cigars. Malaysian cigar aficionados can soon smoke cigars from Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, as Puros Asia will distribute Steve Saka’s cigars there.

Curivari cigars are looking for international distributors. The company is ready to expand distribution on a global scale. Together with My Father Cigars, Tatuaje signed a distribution agreement with Wolfertz GMBH for Germany. Jas Sum Kral released a limited edition Tyrannical Buc Habano, exclusive to three locations. El Viejo Continente released the Mare Nostrum. And Antigua Esteli is making its way to Malaysia with Puros Asia.

Arruco

The spirits from Royal Danish Cigars, Arruco, are now available in Sweden. Arruco stands for Armagnac, Rum, and Cognac. There are two versions of this blended Caribbean rum, one with Armagnac, and one with Cognac. Both versions are available in the Scandinavian country effective immediately.
