Balmoral Dueto available in Belgium
Balmoral Dueto available in Belgium. The collaboration between Royal Agio Cigars and Ernesto Perez Carrillo will be launched in Belgium this week. Belgium is the next country that will see the Balmoral Series Signaturas Dueto on the shelves, after the USA and several other European countries.
Three vitolas
For the Belgian market, three different vitolas were selected for the initial launch. Those are the 5×50 Robusto, the 6×52 Gran Toro, and the 6×60 Gordo. The prices will start at 13 euro for the Robusto and the Toro. The Gordo will be slightly more expensive with a price tag of €13,50. We reviewed the Balmoral Series Signaturas Dueto Robusto last year.
The Balmoral Series Signaturas Dueto was the first of the Balmoral Series Signaturas, a series of collaborations between Royal Agio and other cigar manufacturers. For the maiden collaboration, Royal Agio joined forces with industry veteran Ernesto Perez Carrillo. Together they blended the Balmoral Series Signaturas Dueto. The cigars are produced at Ernesto Perez Carrillo’s La Alianza factory in the Dominican Republic.

Other Balmoral Series Signaturas
The second installment of the Balmoral Series Signaturas is the Paso Doble. That is a collaboration with another legendary cigar manufacturer in the Dominican Republic: La Flor Dominicana. It is unclear if or when those cigars will be available in Europe.
After the news that Scandinavian Tobacco Group acquired Royal Agio Cigars, it’s unclear if there will be another Balmoral Series Signaturas this year. Scandinavian Tobacco Group hasn’t announced any news on that front.
In the United States, Royal Agio and Guantanamera Cigar Co are battling a lawsuit over the name. According to Guantanamera Cigar Co, the word ‘dueto’ is an infringement on their trademark ‘duo’.
