Club Mareva expanding to Lebanon

Club Mareva expanding to Lebanon. The famous cigar lounge Club Mareva in Split will get a sister club in Beirut, Libanon. The original Club Mareva is the home of the Cigar Smoking World Championship. Both the Club Mareva in Split and the CSWC are owned and founded by Marko Bilic. In cooperation with Hand Rolled, a cigar importer and distributor in Lebanon, Bilic is opening a new club in Beirut.

But this is not the only collaboration between Bilic and Hand Rolled. Hand Rolled is also the official partner for the Cigar Smoking World Championship in the Middle East. The company is responsible for the qualifiers in Beirut and Doha. Hand Rolled is also the distributor for Casdagli Cigars. Casdagli cigars created and produced the official Club Mareva cigars. Club Mareva Beirut will get a special blend as a lounge exclusive. That cigar will be made at the renowned Kelner Boutique Factory. Casdagli works closely with Hendrik Kelner.

Club Mareva Beirut

The new Club Mareva in Beirut, Lebanon will have a beautiful and big walk-in humidor and a retail space on the ground floor. There is also a lounge on the first floor. The second floor has a board room and more lounge space. There will be a full bar and a kitchen in the club as well. The humidor will be stocked with both Cuban and new world cigars from Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. 

Hand Rolled

Woody Ghsoubi and Najat Abdo founded Hand Rolled just a few years ago. Both are cigar aficionados and very active in the Lebanese cigar community. Their goal is to import and introduce high-quality new world cigars to Lebanon. So far, the couple has introduced Casdagli Cigars, Patoro Cigars, Caldwell Cigars, Smoking Jacket Cigars, and the cigars from Los Reyes, including the Saga brand.

But Hand Rolled distributes accessories too. They are the official distributor for the French accessories of Les Fines Lames, PerfectDraw, and the market leader in two way humidification, Boveda. In an email to us, Ghsoubi mentioned that Hand Rolled will be representing a few more cigar brands soon, including some of the biggest names in the industry.
