Villiger honors family with Anniversary 2020. It celebrates to two major anniversaries: Mr. Heinrich Villiger, who is celebrating his 90th birthday. And his grandmother, Mrs. Louise Villiger. She founded VILLIGER SÖHNE GmbH in Tiengen, near the Swiss border 110 years ago. The inside of the box reads “[…] All in all, we can look back on 200 years full of tradition, innovation and success. […] “.

The VILLIGER ANNIVERSARY 2020 represents more than just a limited-edition. It is the product of a long, very successful company history. The company writes in a press release that “This limitada shows how much our philosophy and our passion for tobacco have shaped VILLIGER SÖHNE GmbH for 110 years and Mr. Heinrich Villiger’s working life for 90 years.”

The design 

The high-quality wooden boxes are of a design similar to that of a small humidor. There are only 500 boxes available, all with 10 cigars. Cigars of a 6⅛x52 Toro size. The wooden boxes are protected by outer boxes. That is to underline the attention and the significance of this release. Each Limitada box is numbered with a unique golden plaque with its unique number. 

The limited-edition Villiver Anniversary 2020 is a Brazilian puro. Villiger grows and produces cigars in Brazil. With the Villiger Do Brasil lines, they already showcase what Brazil has to offer to the world when it comes to cigars. And now Villiger honors family with Anniversary 2020 made completely from Brazilian tobacco.
