Casdagli Updates Packaging
Not on all its cigars but on the Basilica A and the Club Mareva Mareva Especial. Casdagli Cigars is shipping the new boxes immediately. There is no old stock left.
Basilica A
The name of this cigar is a bit conceiving. Most cigar smokers think of a 9¼x47 cigar when they hear A. The most famous A size cigar is most likely the Montecristo A. But the Basilica A is a 6×52 Toro, hailing from the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic.
The new boxes come in a different shade of red than the previous boxes. A deeper red. And the cigars now have a secondary band with an “A” print, something that is new too. The blend of the cigars hasn’t changed. It is still made with a Dominican wrapper and binder. The filler comes from Peru, Pennsylvania, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
Club Mareva Mareva Especial
Club Mareva is a cigar club in Split, Croatia. Its owner, Marko Bilic is also the founder of the Cigar Smoking World Championship. The friendship between Bilic and Jeremy Casdagli resulted in the Casdagli Club Mareva series. And now the Casdagli updates the packaging of the Club Mareva cigars.
The boxes are bigger, from 15-count boxes to 24-count boxes. And the new boxes include the same imagery as the wallpaper on the walls of Cigar Club Mareva. These 6×42 cigars also come from the Kelner Boutique Factory. The wrapper is Brazilian, the rest of the tobacco is all Dominican.
