Episode 33: The Philip & Ferdy Cigar Show. And what cigar should we smoke since it’s Christmas? Well, there is one cigar made for this occasion a few years ago. It’s the Royal Danish Weihnachten Leckerbissen. That is not a Danish name though, but German. It translates to Christmas delicacies. So we paired it with a Christmas delicacy from The Netherlands, Advocaat.

Royal Danish Cigars

Royal Danish Cigars didn’t have the best year. And that has nothing to do with Covid-19 but with the Danish Royal Family. After years of operating under the Royal Danish name, with approval and registration, suddenly the Danish Royals let the retailers know that they would face severe penalties if they kept selling the brand. So Royal Danish Cigars owner Jan Vistisen had to register a new name, come up with new artwork and start all over again.

Ferdy still had a few of the Royal Danish Weihnachten Leckerbissen so he, Philip, and producer Iz smoked that cigar for this X-mas Episode. And Ferdy also brought Advocaat, a classic Dutch x-mas delicacy. Made with egg yolk, brandy, and sugar.
