Another Serie Sevilla Jar

July 18, 2022 Inspector Z 2 min read

Another Serie Sevilla Jar. The 6h edition of the Serie Sevilla is out now. It is one of the two annual jars with aged Habano cigars that come to the Spanish market each year. Both the Collecion Vintage and the Serie Sevilla are releases from the exclusive distributor for Habanos in Spain, Tabacalera S.L.U.

Both series have a lot in common. But they are also different in some other parts. Both are exclusively sold in Spain and are annual releases. Both come with aged Cuban cigars. And both releases come in jars that draw inspiration from the past. Replicas from the Partagas and Ramon Allones jars from the mid-1900s.

Serie Sevilla

The Serie Sevilla gets its name from the region where the jars are made. They are the work of the famous Andalusian manufacturer La Cartuja de Sevilla. One of the differences between the Serie Sevilla and the Collecion Vintage is the color of the artwork. The Serie Sevilla comes with red artwork, as where the collecion Vintage has blue artwork.

The Serie Sevilla 2021 features 10 Ramon Allones Specially Selected cigars. These robustos are a minimum of 5 years old. A jar contains 19 cigars and sells 304 euros. There are only 2000 Serie Sevilla 2021 Jars available, all with their own, unique, number.

Previous versions

Since the inaugural release of the Serie Sevilla in 2016, the following cigars have been featured in the vintage-looking jars:

2016 Montecristo #3
2017 Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Especial
2018 H. Upmann Magnum 50
2019 Partagas Serie P No.2
2020 Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill
