Limited La Galera Cubes are coming to Europe
La Galera Cubes are coming to Europe. But in a very limited quantity, less than 200 boxes in total. The name cubes comes from the square cube boxes in which the cigars are packed.
The Cubes come in four blends, La Galera Habano, La Galera Maduro, La Galera Connecticut and La Galera Box Pressed.
The La Galera Habano is a cigar with a mix of Dominican tobaccos as filler with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The Cubes are called Supremo and measure 4×56 in a perfecto shape. Both the foot and the head are open.
The La Galera Maduro is a cigar with Dominican filler and binder, including Piloto Cubano and Criollo 98, with a Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper. These come in a 6⅔x48 Perfecto Larga size. Just like the La Galera Habano Supremo the head is open.
The La Galera Connecticut is also made with Dominican Piloto Cubano, Criollo 98 and some Pelo d’oro from Jochy Blanco’s tobacco fields but wrapped in a Connecticut Shade from Ecuador. The shorts, as this limited edition is called, is a 4×46 Hemminway Perfecto.
The La Galera 1936 Box Pressed is again, filled with Dominican tobacco from the Blanco growing operation with a Habano from Ecuador. The limited edition is a round pyramid which measures 6⅔x52.
