Plasencia adds a perfecito reserva original
Plasencia adds a perfecito reserva original for international markets. Plasencia extends the Reserva Original series with a short perfecto, just for the international markets. The Perfecito is a 3⅞x52 perfecto with a pigtail, it reminded us of a skinny Flying Pig. Skinny because a Flying Pig has about the same length, a pigtail but a ring gauge of 60 instead of 52.
The blend has not changed, it’s the same as the other Reserva Original cigars. Plasencia created the cigar so that cigar aficionados can enjoy the Reserva Orginal in a shorter smoke on colder days. The Perfecito will exclusively be offered to the international markets.
Reserva Original
Plasencia Reserva Original has the very same taste that captivated the Europeans more than five centuries ago when they arrived in the New World. It features notes of nuts, fruits, and caramel with delicate nuances of marzipan and final hints of cedar. To achieve this, Plasencia had to go all organic. But legislation prevents the company to promote the cigars as organic. That’s why the name changed from Reserva Organica to Reserva Original.
Nestor Andres Plasencia is a curious man. He wanted to taste what his ancestors tasted. So on a plot at one of the family farms, he went all organic. Like in the old days, when artificial fertilizer and pesticides weren’t around. Organic tobacco. That experiment led to the Plasencia Reserva Original. And now the Plasencia Reserva Original is released in The Netherlands.
