Tatuaje Releases Two Robusto Samplers
Two different samplers, one with six different Tatuaje blends in a 5×50 Robusto size. The other sampler contains six 5×50 Robusto from the Surrogates series. All the cigars for both samplers come from the My Father Cigars S.A. factory in Esteli, Nicaragua.
Tatuaje Robusto Sampler
The sampler with the six Tatuaje cigars has the name Colecciones de Tatuaje 6 Robusto Exclusivos. The 5×50 size is new for five out of the six blends. Only the Havana VI is available as a 5×50 outside of this sampler. The Tatuaje Havana VI has an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan filler and binder.
The other cigars in the sampler are the Tatuaje Seleccion de Cazador. Again a cigar with Nicaraguan filler and binder with an Ecuadorian wrapper. The Tatuaje Black Label also uses tobacco from those two countries. Just as the Cabaiguan. And the Tatuaje Nuevitas Jibaro. And guess what? The last cigar in the sampler is the Tatuaje Fausto, with an Ecuadorian wrapper over Nicaraguan filler and binder.
Surrogates six-pack
The surrogates line is Pete Johnson’s line where he offers limited edition quality and vibes for an everyday price. And the cigars are regular production. Just as with the Colecciones de Tatuaje 6 Robusto Exclusivos, five out of the six cigars usually don’t come in a Robusto size.
The six blends in the sampler are the Surrogates Skul Breaker and the Surrogates Crystal Baller. The Tramp Stamp, a jab at Johnson’s own Tatuaje brand, and the Animal Cracker are included as well. Just as the Satin Glove and 7th Sam blends.
