Limited Juarez Shots are Returning

Crowned Heads is releasing 500 boxes of 50 Shots 2021 next month on the American market. Although some boxes might end up with Crowned Heads distributors in international markets. The Shots 2021 mark the second release of the 4×50 limited edition of the popular Juarez line by Crowned Heads.

Juárez, as a brand, experienced dramatic growth in 2020,” says Jon Huber in a press release. “The Shots are a great limited seasonal release that gives fans of Juárez a short format option to enjoy the blend not only during the cold weather months but any time of year.” Huber is one of the founders of Crowned Heads. 

The Juarez Shots 2021 use the same blend as the rest of the Juarez line. A Mexican San Andres wrapper and an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder. The filler comes from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The production takes place at Tabacalera Pichardo in Esteli, Nicaragua. Tabacalera Pichardo is the factory of Eradio Pichardo, who co-owns ACE Prime. Crowned Heads distributes ACE Prime in the United States.

 Juarez

The Juarez line is a follow-up of the popular Jericho Hill line. As the Jericho Hill, the line draws its inspiration from Johnny Cash and his famous Folsom Prison concert. In the song Cocaine Blues, Cash mentions the city of Juarez.  Each of the cigars in the line has a name with a reference to the song, the album, or Johnny Cash.
