New Cavalier and Illusione for Norway
New Cavalier and Illusione for Norway. The Norwegian cigar importer and distributor Nordic Cigars confirms that both cigar brands have new items available on the Norwegian market.
Cavalier Geneve
The Honduran Swiss brand Cavalier ships the LE 2020 to Norway. The blend is a mystery and the cigar lacks the signature golden square on the wrapper. The cigars are made in barber-ole fashion. But not with equal parts of the two wrappers exposed. The dark wrapper covers almost all of the cigar with a thin stripe of a lighter color showing through.
The second new Cavalier Geneve for Norway is the Black II lancero. This is a small batch release, with only a small amount of cigars available to distributors and retailers twice a year. The 7×38 cigars have a Mexican San Andres wrapper and Habano filler and binder.
Illusione
Illusione also has new items on the Norwegian markets. The new cigars include the 4½x44 Epernay Le Petit. A perfect small cigar for the cold Norwegian winters. And if you are sick and tired of the snow, waiting for some green, then Nordic Cigars and Illusione have a solution. The brand new 5⅝x46 Illusione CG:4 Candela is available.
The 6¾x48 Illusione is now available in both the Maduro and Original Documents version. The Maduro spots a Mexican San Andres wrapper, where the original has a Nicaraguan Corojo Rosado wrapper. And the 4⅝x40 Petit Corona with the name Rex is available. This is a take-off from the La Gran Classe line which was an exclusive for Dion Giolito’s show in Reno, Nevada. They are only produced in small quantities and hard to find.
