Illusione to distribute Amendola cigars. Recently Illusione took over distribution for Cavalier Geneve, and now it adds Amendola Cigars to its distribution portfolio. Both nationally, and internationally. For many European countries, Illusione works with Davidoff. It is not clear if Davidoff will distribute Amendola cigars in those territories.

The New York native Jeffrey Amendola has his roots in law enforcement. It’s during his days as a police officer that he got into the cigar hobby. He’s not the only New York law enforcement officer turned cigar manufacturer. Protocol Cigars Juan Cancel shares that background. When Amendola went to Ybor City in 2012 he learned how to blend and roll cigars. It led to the opening of a small shop and factory in North Carolina. It was a logical step to create a brand bearing the name of his family. That step led to Amendola Family Cigar Company in 2017.

Up until recently, Amendola Cigars were made at Tabacalera Kafie/San Jeronimo in Danli, Honduras. But production moved to Esteli, Nicaragua. To Tabacalera La Zona and Tabacos Valle de Jalapa. Most Illusione cigars come from Tabacos Valle de Jalapa as well.
