Villiger Appoints a Director Marketing & Export Sales
Villiger appoints a Director Marketing & Export Sales. A new position was created to cope with the growing global challenges. Gert Kamphuis, a long-time member of the Villiger management is going to fill that role. Previously Kamphuis was director of Villiger Sohne AG in Switzerland and managing director of Villiger Sohne Germany.
In his new role, Kamphuis will be working closely with three managing directors of Villiger in Europe. These are Mirko Lorenzi, Egon Schwerdtle-von Delft and Clemens Gütermann.

Industry veteran
Kamphuis, who holds a degree in economics, has 34 years of international business experience in the cigar industry. For the last 10 years, he has been the successful export manager of the Villiger Group. Prior to that, he was Managing Director in various countries and Vice President Sales Continental Division at Swedish Match.
