Carlos Andre Adds Toro to Cast Off line

October 24, 2022 Inspector Z 2 min read

Carlos Andre adds toro to Cast Off line. The line was already available in a Robusto, Corona Larga, and Petit Corona size. But now there is a 6×50 Toro as well.

The inspiration for the name comes from casting off. The luxury of the feeling of limitless freedom, the magic of experiencing a pristine nature, and the magic of adventure. That’s what Carlos Andre tries to achieve with this blend. And by adding a bigger cigar to the line, you can cast off for a longer period of time.

The cigars

The blend consists of an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper. The wrapper is aged for five years before applying the wrapper to the cigar. The binder comes from Mexico. The filler is a mixture of Dominican and Brazilian tobacco. The production takes place at Tabacalera Arnold Andre Dominicana.

The cigars come in modern, lava black boxes that lock with magnets. Each box contains 10 cigars. The fixed retail price in Germany is 135 euro a box or 13.50 per single cigar.

“The Carlos Andre Cast Off Toro is a symbiosis of majestic elegance and exciting adventure”, says Petra Lindenschmidt, Vice President Arnold André Dominicana. “In a refined way, it unleashes an unobtrusive but multi-faceted range of aromas, which interacts confidently and masterfully – harmoniously in harmony, but lively in every single taste nuance and with a final, virtuoso crescendo.”
