Another Habanos specialist in Africa. The number of Habanos specialists in Africa is growing quickly. In the past few months, the exclusive Habanos distributor for Africa, Phoenicia gave several shops in Africa the Habanos Specialist status. This time it’s a Habanos Specialist status for Tabacaria Executive in Luanda, Angola. Earlier it was a shop in Abuja, Nigeria, and a shop in Conakry, Republic of Guinea. And in Cote d’ Ivoire, two shops were awarded.

The new Habanos Specialist store is a luxury shop in Angola’s capital Luanda. The shop is located on the second floor of de Fortaleza Shopping Mall. It is a brand new show that only opened the doors in 2020. It has a walk-in humidor with a plethora of Habanos offerings that is only growing with the new status

Phoenicia TAA

The exclusive Habanos distributor for this region is Phoenicia TAA from Cyprus. Their territory spans three continents. Greece and Cyprus in Europe, Pakistan, and the Middle East in Asia, and the complete African continent minus one country. That makes them the largest exclusive Habanos distributor in the world, with Pacific Cigar Company as the second largest.

The distributor is building a network of Habanos specialists. Not only are they awarding shops in Cote d’ Ivoire, Angola, Republic of Guinea, and Nigeria with this status. They also awarded shops in Pakistan and Qatar with this quality stamp. In the Phoenicia territory, there are 111 Habanos Specialists. There are also a few La Casa del Habano franchises in their territory.
