Les Fines Lames adds color
Les Fines Lames adds color to their famous cigar knives. Yes, they had cigar knives with housing in different colors. Both wood and G10 composite housings. But the French company is now taking it to the next level. The latest release of the Les Fines Lames Le Petit is one with the colors of the Cuban flag on the housing. This is available in two different options. With a white outline, or with a black outline.

Compass series
But it’s not the only new knife from Les Fines Lames. The Compass series is getting an addition. This series consists of a series of knives where a part of a nautical map is etched on the blade of the knife. The Cuban edition comes in four different versions. Ebony, Ziricote, Padauk and Olive.
But for cigar enthusiasts that prefer Nicaraguan or Dominican cigars, there is good news. The new additions to the Compass series have a nautical map of Nicaragua or the Dominican Republic etched on the blade. From the big four, only Honduras is missing but who knows. Maybe Honduras is the next release in the Compass series.
Other special knives
In the past, Les Fines Lames collaborated with Havana Club. These knives had a housing made out of old Havana Club barrels. Since Les Fines Lames is a French company, it is no surprise that for the next knife in the Barrel series, they went to the Cognac region. The handle is made of cognac barrel wood and its blade engraved with the Grande Champagne vineyards. Next up whisky? Bourbon? Wine?
