Cigar trophy opens nominations

Cigar trophy opens nominations. From now until June 14 you can nominate your favorite cigars for the Cigar Trophy Awards from Cigar Journal. The renowned magazine hosts the annual award show for the 24th Time. And for more than a decade cigar enthusiasts worldwide can nominate their favorite cigars, lounge, accessory before the voting begins. Because of the lockdowns in so many countries, the lounge category has changed to the best interactive virtual lounge.

Nominations

Not all categories are open for nominations. The Cigar Journal panel picks the winner of the ambassador award, charity, and lifetime achievement award without input from the audience.

After the nomination round, Cigar Journal will select the top 5 most nominated cigars and accessories. Everybody then can vote for their favorite cigar amongst the finalists. Each year that proves to be a difficult task. The top 5 in each category always have a few cigars that are hard to pick over another. 

Categories

The categories in which you can nominate your favorite cigars are:

Best brand for Cuba, Nicaragua, Honduras, Dominican Republic, and other countries. Best cigar 2021 for the same categories. And there is the best value for these countries, except ‘other countries’.

The final two categories are the best interactive virtual cigar lounge and the best cigar accessory. We nominated our favorites for this years’ Cigar Trophy. Now it’s time for you to do the same. You can vote on www.cigartrophy.com
