A new Blind Man’s Bluff limited edition

A new Blind Man’s Bluff limited edition. Next week is the week where Caldwell Cigar Company is releasing a new cigar in the Blind Man’s Bluff line. The Blind Men’s Bluff This is Trouble is a limited edition Robusto, 5×52 and it will be available globally. Of the 1000 boxes, 250 will go to international Caldwell distributors. The remaining 750 boxes are for American consumers.

Honduras

Where Caldwell Cigar Company produces most of their cigars in the Dominican Republic, this Blind Man’s Bluff is different. It’s made in Honduras at Agroindustrias Laepe S.A. in Danli, Honduras. That is the former factory of the Eiroa family, which they sold to Davidoff along with the Camacho brand. Camacho is still the most famous cigar coming from that factory. 

The blend is different than the regular Blind Man’s Bluff blend. Where the regular production used Ecuadorian wrapper over Dominican and Honduran tobaccos, the Blind Man’s Bluff This is Trouble has a different blend. It has a Mexican San Andres wrapper over a Dominican binder. The filler is Dominican and Nicaraguan. Dominican Corojo and Double Ligero, and Habano from Esteli to be more precise. 

“Blind Man’s Bluff has been a tremendously successful brand for us over the years,” says Robert Caldwell. “We have never done anything funky with it. This year we wanted to give it a little extra love, so we decided to roll out a limited production, an extra special cigar. We are always working on blends (if even only for fun), and sometimes these blends are so damned good that we have to share them with our friends. This cigar is just that.”Adventura expands two lines. ADV & McKay Cigars are releasing two new vitolas in existing lines next month. A toro and a Corona, both made at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic.
