Oliva Cigar Co announces Advent calendar

Oliva Cigar Co announces Advent calendar. An advent calendar full of cigars to celebrate the holidays at the end of the year. The Oliva Advent Calendar will contain 25 cigars, for the 25 days leading up to Christmas Day.

The cigars inside the advent calendar will be a representation of the Oliva Cigar Company portfolio. Regular production lines but also some limited editions. Buyers can expect the Connecticut Reserve, Serie G, Serie O, Serie V, and Serie V Melanio. None of the cigars in this Advent calendar are new. There will only be 10.000 Oliva Advent Calendars available and they should be in store in early October.

It looks like Oettinger Davidoff frontlines another movement in the cigar industry. Davidoff was the trendsetter with using the Chinese zodiac calendar for an annual release. Many other companies, including Habanos, are now doing the same. And for the last few years, Davidoff has been releasing a cigar advent calendar as well. Earlier this year, Tatuaje announced having plans for an advent calendar as well. And now Oliva is releasing an advent calendar. 

Some retailers create their Advent calendar with cigars from several suppliers. For example, Renegade Cigars did one and a part of the proceeds went to charity. Which fits in with the Christmas thought of taking care of others. A German retailer offers the opportunity to create your own advent calendar, with all cigars in tubes in a special tray. The first cigar advent calendar came from HENK though, and there might be another one coming. The HENK advent calendar is a working humidor.
