July 18, 2022 Inspector Z 2 min read

AJF Cigar dinner in Bratislava. Now that the summer is ending, the Slovakian cigar retailer Dom Cigar is inviting all cigar smokers to join them at the Wakeland Resort in Zlate Piesky in Bratislava for one last cigar dinner at the location this year. The event takes place next Monday, September 13th from 6 pm onwards. As always, the cigar dinner takes place at a private outdoor terrace and includes 3 cigars, 2 alcoholic beverages, and dinner in buffet style. That all for just €45. IF you want to join, mail domcigar@domcigar.sk before September 8th.

The cigars

For the final outdoor cigar dinner, Dom Cigar brings cigars from A.J. Fernandez. Cigars that won multiple awards, and have a great reputation. A.J. Fernandez is one of the biggest names in the cigar industry, producing millions of cigars a year. Not just for his AJF Cigars brand, but he also makes a lot of cigars for others in his two factories. He’s also a major grower of tobacco in Nicaragua, with plantations in all major tobacco-growing regions of the country.

From the large portfolio of A.J.F. Cigars, the following will be included with the dinner. The New World Puro Especial Short Churchill. This is a Nicaraguan Puro, with tobacco from Fernandez’s farms. Cinnamon and cedar tones on a chocolate background are blending in perfect harmony. The New World Puro Especial Short Churchill was rated 91 in Cigar Journal magazine

The second cigar is the Bellas Artes Maduro Lancero. This cigar has a 93 rating from Cigar Journal and was the #4 cigar of the year for the magazine. Nicaraguan filler surrounded by Mexican San Andres Negro as a binder and Brazilian MataFina wrapper. And then there is the Last Call Habano Geniales. Originally created as a cigar for those who were lucky enough to be invited to watch American football. The cigar was specifically designed to last the final quarter of the game.
