Forged Cigar Co. Adding a New Line

May 26, 2022 Billie 2 min read

Forged Cigar Co., a subsidiary from General Cigars, which is a subsidiary from STG, is adding a new line of fat cigars to its portfolio. The new line is an extension to the Chillin’ Moose brand called the Bull Moose.

The Bull Moose is a Nicaraguan Puro, made at  Tabacalera Carlos Sanches SA, also known as TACASA, and not at STG Esteli, Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s own factory in Nicaragua. There are four sizes, a 5×60, 6×60, 6×70 and 7×70 all for a MSRP less than 7 dollar before tax.

“Bull Moose kicks Chillin’ Moose up a notch with a deeper profile and delivers it in sizes that are well, gigantic,” says John Hakim, brand manager of Chillin’ Moose, in a press release. “This is the perfect cigar for the initiated smoker who wants the experience of a Nicaraguan puro without breaking the bank.”

The Chillin’ Moose saw the light in 2014 and currently there are two versions. The core line and the Chillin’ Moose Too. The Bull Moose is the third blend in the series. Originally Foundry Tobacco Company, another subsidiary of General Cigars introduced the Chillin’ Moose amongst a few other more experimental or unconventional cigars. When Foundry founder Michael Gianini left STG, both the Foundry line of cigars and the Foundry Tobacco Company were dissolved.
