Karen Berger Will Introduce a New Limited Edition Cigar
At the PCA Convention & Trade Show in July, Karen Berger will introduce a new limited edition cigar to celebrate 25 years in the tobacco industry. Berger and her late husband Don Kiki Berger started the business 25 years ago by growing tobacco and opening Tabacalera Esteli. Now you’d expect that Karen Berger would use her own factory to produce this anniversary cigar but no, she reached out to her neighbor and cigar industry legend A.J. Fernandez for a long awaited collaboration.
Together with Fernandez, Berger created a 6×52 Toro with a Connecticut Habano Broadleaf wrapper over a San Andres binder and Nicaraguan filler. There are only 1500 boxes available and the cigar will be available for retailers who visit the PCA Convention & Trade show.
