Battleground Cameroon Temporary Comeback
After 7 years, the Battleground Cameroon makes a temporary comeback after the company claims they have found a batch of 7000 cigars in the Von Eicken/Charles Fairmorn Factory that were overlooked for all this time. The cigar is made with an African Cameroon wrapper, a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Dominican fillers. The cigars will come in 20 count boxes and bundles and are available in the sizes 5×56, 5¾x56, 6×56 and a 6½x56 Figurado.
The sizes are new, as they were test runs for the original release. The original artwork, inspired by military generals from American history as Battleground uses for all their cigars. The colours will be different from the original release to separate them.
Cigar Inspector thinks it’s odd that 7000 cigars can be ‘lost’ for years, and that the press releases says that “the cigars use the same blend as the original release” which implies these are not from the original release and not 7 years old. Also, if the cigars are the same as the original release, why release them in different colours to make it clear which release is which, as they are the same right?
