Quality Importers Have Hired Michael Giannini as the New Chief of Customer Engagement

Quality Importers, the powerhouse that is the parent company of XIKAR, Palió, Cigar Caddy, Humidor Supreme and others has hired Michael Giannini as the new chief of customer engagement. It is a newly created role for the industry veteran and includes managing the sales, marketing and messaging initiatives of the company.

Previously Giannini worked for a cigar retailer in Philadelphia before joining EPC’s El Credito Cigar Company. When El Credito was sold to Swedish Match Giannini became a marketing manager for the company and from there he moved on to become creative director and director of innovation for General Cigar Co. In 2017 he left General Cigars to do the same job for Ventura, a position he left in late 2020.

“After two years of relaxing in California, I could not resist the opportunity to work with QI’s iconic portfolio of 10 brands, and our customization house – THE SWAG BUNKER,” says Giannini in a press release. “Relocating to the company headquarters in Weston, Fla. to work with the great team that Michael and Marilyn Giordano have assembled is an exciting new chapter for me.
