A.J. Fernandez is Releasing the Fifth Cigar in the New World Series
A.J. Fernandez is releasing the fifth cigar in the New World series and this time it’s named after a farm. The Dorado Farm, a relatively new farm from AJF. It’s a five year old farm and most of the tobacco used for this release is from the first harvest. That makes this cigar an Estate Cigar. Dorado means golden and Fernandez named the farm because of the golden hue of the soil, which is uncommon in the area.
Dorado’s all-Nicaraguan blend is made up of a sun-grown, Cuban-seed wrapper and Criollo ’98 binder, both from the Dorado farm. There is some other filler from another farm in Estelí and from a farm in Condega. The cigars are box pressed and come in a Robusto, Toro, Gordito and a big figurado.
