Liana Fuente is Leaving Her Position with Arturo Fuente

In a surprising move, Liana Fuente is leaving her position as vp of brand development for Arturo Fuente. Liana was hired by her grandfather Carlos Sr over 15 years ago and remained in the family business for that long. She remains on the boards of both the C. Fuente Holdings Inc. and the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, the joint foundation founded by the Fuente and J.C. Newman families.

“Working alongside my father was one of the most rewarding and challenging aspects of my tenure at the company,” said Fuente in a press release. “Being such a creative genius, he formed the foundations of what today is known as the Fuente Look. Along the way, I was blessed to take on the reins of so many projects and given the opportunity to originate new ones. One of our goals, especially with the fun advertising campaigns and amazing cigar accessories we were able to create, was to carry out my father’s vision of establishing Arturo Fuente as a respected and beloved global luxury brand – and I’m proud to say, we did it!”

Liana Fuente was also heavily involved in the Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Vintage 1960’s series. That series pays tribute to breast cancer victim, which includes family members of Liana. Part of the proceeds of this line goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
