Fratello is Discontinuing the Fratello Classico Piccolo

A 4×34 Petit Corona that has been in Fratello’s portfolio for a couple of years. In a statement on Facebook, Fratello owner Omar de Frias wrote  “I’m going to miss the Fratello Classico Piccolo. The cost of producing this vitola (4×34) vs the price where it can sold makes it prohibitive to continue. We have some boxes in stock but not for long…”

With raising prices for tobacco, wood and labour this is a problem that many other cigar manufacturers face too. Joya de Nicaragua also discontinued some of the smaller vitolas from their portfolio recently.
