Hamlet Paredes Parted Ways with Rocky Patel Premium Cigars, Inc.
Hamlet Paredes, the famed Cuban cigar roller parted ways with Rocky Patel Premium Cigars, Inc. late last month. He will join Bond Roberts, an auction platform by Friends of Habanos and James J Fox from Dublin, Ireland. According to Rocky Patel Premium Cigars Paredes left on “really good terms” and that his decision to leave will allow him to travel more internationally, something he did in his previous life working for Habanos S.A. Previously Paredes travelled the world for Habanos and in 2015 he fled and Rocky Patel offered to take him under his wings.
Except for the Tabaquero, all Hamlet lines such as the 25th Year, Liberation and Hamlet 2020 will remain in the portfolio of Rocky Patel.
Patel added that Paredes’ son will continue to work for BURN by Rocky Patel and was recently promoted to humidor manager.
