Darren Cioffi Uses Vintage Cigar Art as Inspiration for New Cigar Line
Darren Cioffi is not only the man behind the Principle brand, but he’s also the best-known collector of vintage cigar art. His collection of vintage cigar art is probably the largest in the world. And now he combines the two in a new cigar line. The first cigar is dedicated to the year 1842. That year is said to have been the birth of the new New York. The New York & Harlem Railroad begins service as the first streetcar and the only one in Manhattan at the time. In addition, fresh tap water was piped to Manhattan for the first time this year. Reason enough for Darren to make a cigar to match this epochal event.
The new creation from the PETIT PROVOCATEUR line is unbelievable. The vitola is called FLECHETTE in 26 x 6. A smoking pleasure of 40 minutes. This thin cigar consists of only 3 tobacco leaves. A wrapper and a binder each Ecuador Habano 2000. The only filler sheet comes from the Dominican Republic.
