General Cigars has Been Releasing a Series of Cigars Under the Diesel Moniker That Were Meant to not Break the Bank

October 5, 2022 Billie 1 min read

Limited edition cigars all for under 5 dollars each. The sixth and final instalment is ready to be shipped early October.

The final cigar in the series is called Porcellino. It’s a 6×52 Toro with Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan Habano binder grown in the Pueblo Nuevo region, while the filler contains Nicaraguan Habano leaves. A.J. Fernandez and Justin Andrews of STG were responsible for the blend that A.J. Fernandez makes in his factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

The cigar gets its name from Il Porcellino. The name is the same as the famous fountain of a female wild boar in Florence, Italy.  All other Sunday Gravy series have Italian names too such as San Marzano, Pecorino. Gabagool Grappa and Rosamarino. The cigars are all Nicaraguan cigars and once sold out they are gone forever.
