Montecristo Gets a New Edmundo
After the Mexican regional edition Edmundo Dantes, Habanos released the Montecristo Edmundo globally in 2004 with a follow up in the shape of a Petit Edmundo 2 years later and a Double Edmundo in 2013. And now there is a new Edmundo, the Montecristo Wide Edmundo that was released at a party in Spain last week.
Live music was part of the celebration during the Montecristo Wide Edmundo premiere party, held in Spain at Madrid’s Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium.
The Montecristo Wide Edmundo is a 4 7/8×54 thick robusto and one of the fattest Montecristo ever. The factory name is Duke No.3 and the cigar will have an additional ring, much like the Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill.
