Roy MacLaren Named as Chief Sales Officer for Escobar Cigars

Last year, famous old-school rapper Nas invested in Puros Privados, a cigar company and announced Escobar Cigars. Escobar is one of the nicknames that Nas uses. The company also opened its own factory in Estelí, Nicaragua and has now hired an industry veteran, Roy MacLaren as the new Chief Sales Officer.

MacLaren has a long track record of more than 20 years in the premium cigar industry with positions as executive CP of sales for El Septimo, president of Bahama Mama’s, executive CP of sales for Crux Cigars and general manager of Villiger Cigars North America.
