Altadis U.S.A. Releasing VegaFina Year of the Rabbit 2023

Altadis U.S.A. is releasing VegaFina Year of the Rabbit 2023 a few months before the global release, which will take place in February. The 6×50 Torpedo uses an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican and Nicaragua. The cigar is supposed to start mild and builds up to a full bodied profile due to the specific placement of the filler tobaccos.

“VegaFina is a brand with a strong global presence that has captured the hearts of adult cigar lovers for decades,” said Rafael Nodal, Tabacalera USA’s head of product capability, in a press release. “Now we are inviting adult U.S. cigar enthusiasts to be part of this special VegaFina holiday tradition with a limited production of 1,500 boxes of VegaFina Classic Year of the Rabbit 2023 made for the U.S. market.”

The VegaFina Year of the Rabbit 2023 is offered in red boxes containing 16 cigars. To keep in the Chinese theme, the 16 cigars are divided into two sections of 8, a lucky number in Chinese culture. Each box features a graphic of a leaping rabbit on the lid as well as additional Chinese design motifs, while each cigar wears a red foot band with the same design featured on the lid.
