Guy Fieri Celebrates 55th Birthday With Knuckle Sandwich Release
Guy Fieri, celebrity chef, TV-host and owner of the Knuckle Sandwich cigar brand together with Erik Espinosa of Espinosa Cigars is turning 55. And that occasion screamed for a limited release of his cigar, the Knuckle Sandwich Fifty-Five.
“Guy wanted to do something special for his birthday—what better gift than a special cigar made for a special occasion?” Espinosa said in a press release. “As luck would have it, this limited release coincides with the one-year anniversary of the launch of Knuckle Sandwich Cigars. We are both very proud of the success and reviews it has garnered in its first year.”
the cigar measures 5½x55, the perfect size to celebrate a 55th birthday and the cigar is oval shaped. There is a secondary band with the number 55. The filler and binder is all Nicaraguan, but the blend differs from the regular production series. The wrapper is a Mexican San Andres leaf. There will only be 555 boxes of 10, all made at the San Lotano factory in Ocotal, owned by A.J. Fernandez.
