Freud Cigar Company Team Up With Eladio Diaz to Bring the AlterEgo

Freud Cigar Company is teaming up with Eladio Diaz and his Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera again after the limited edition Agape. The cigars have been aging for a year at the factory aging rooms. The blend consists of a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, an Indonesian Sumatra binder and an entirely Dominican filler blend using a host of seed varieties: Pelo de Oro, Corojo, ’Havana 92 and Piloto Cubano.  There will be three sizes, a 6×52 Toro, a 5×50 Robusto and a 6½x43 Lonsdale

AlterEgo will be introduced to retailers at the Tobacco Plus Expo trade show later this month before a launch party on February 23 at Davidoff Cigar Bar in Las Vegas. Retailers can expect the cigars to start shipping at the beginning of March.
