Blackbird Make Beautiful Mistake

Whether this is a true story, or a brilliant piece of marketing, we don’t know but it is a nice story to read. Apparently the blender of Blackbird returned from a trip and checked on a blend he was working with. The blend was different from what he thought he created and it turned out that someone in the company mixed two different kinds of tobacco up.

The blender reached out to Blackbird owners and asked what to do. The answer came in the shape of a question, “did you like what you smoked?”. The answer was yes and that’s how the new blend, Glitch, was born.

The Glitch comes in three blends, with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper under the name Claro, an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper for the Glitch Hababo and a Mexican San Andres wrapper for the Glitch Oscuro. The Oscuro has a Dominican binder where the other two blends have a Mexican one. The filler is the same for each line, tobacco from the USA and the Dominican Republic. All blends come in a 5×50 Robusto and a 6×52 Toro.
