Matilde Cigar Co. Introduces New Serena Maduro and Additional Sizes for Limited Edition Line Extension
Matilde Cigar Co. is coming a line extension and some new sizes for one of its limited edition lines. The Serena Maduro is new and it uses the almost the same blend as the Matilde Serena with the exceptions of a Mexican San Andres wrapper and a different type of Dominican binder. The filler remains the same as the original Serena line. Enrique Seijas of Matilde Cigar Co. says that even with the changes, the profile and strength levels remain at or just shy of medium to stay in line with the original. The Serena Maduro will come as a Robusto and a Toro and are made at Tabacalera La Palma.
The limited edition Exposure #2 is getting a new 6×42 Lonsdale and a 5×50 Robusto. There are 300 boxes of 20 sticks of the Lonsdale available, 600 of the Robusto and another 600 boxes of the Toro, the only original size. Tabacalera La Isla makes the cigars for Matilda.
