Selected Tobacco Unveils Atabey Dioses 10-Year Extra Aged Limited Edition
Selected Tobacco is a cigar manufacturer that likes to experiment with aging cigars before releasing them. Owner Nelson Alfonso often ages cigars for five years in cedar-lined and oak-lined rooms before releasing the cigars. But now they are releasing a limited edition that had been aging for a decade. This is the Atabey Dioses 10-year extra aged.
Ever since the introduction of the brand in 2010, with cigars rolled in 2005, Atabey has been slowly increasing the number of vitolas they offer. The Dioses is a 8×50 Double Corona that’s been around since 2018, after being rolled in 2013. Part of the original production was kept behind to age an additional 5 years and is released now.
The cigars feature the same blend as the rest of the Atabey line, with Ecuadoran Habano wrappers and some Peruvian Ligero in the filler. The rest of the blend remains undisclosed. There are only 9,250 cigars available with a suggested retail price of $36. The cigars will be introduced at the PCA convention & trade show.
