Flatbush Cigar Company: Unveiling a Taste of New York City with Three Distinct Blends
The internet retailer Gotham Cigars is releasing a cigar brand that will be offered to other retailers as well. The brand will be called Flatbush Cigar Company and comes in three blends all inspired by New York City.
The first line is the Doorman, with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan Habano binder and filler from Condega and Jalapa in Nicaragua. The second line is the Stoop 526, which has the same filler and binder but a Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper. The last line is the Yellow Cab, with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over the same binder and filler.
The cigars come in bundles of 10 in the sizes 6×52, 7×50 and 6×60. The trio is produced at Best Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
“The story behind the story of Flatbush Cigar Company is that a conversation that I was having about the cigar business many years ago while in Flatbush generated the idea that has become Gotham Cigars,” said Manny Balani, owner and president of Gotham Cigars, in a press release. “I have always known that I wanted to honour that meeting, and one of my favourite areas in Brooklyn, with a cigar…and now here it is. These are really fantastic cigars that are affordable. We look forward to introducing them to the market, and following that up with a few other creative ideas we have planned for the Flatbush Cigar Company.”
