Aganorsa Leaf Introduces New Cuba Superior: A USA Exclusive Cigar Line
A new Aganorsa line that we won’t see outside the USA is the New Cuba Superior. It’s announced in the same week as the German high court confirmed that words as Cuba, Habana Cuban-seed and Piloto Cubano cannot be used for non-Cuban cigars so it’s safe to say this will be a USA Exclusive series.
Aganorsa Leaf already has a line called New Cuba, a medium filler sold in bundles, but the New Cuba Superior is a handmade longfiller that comes in boxes. The blend consists of an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Nicaraguan grown Cuban-seed tobacco.
The line will debut in a Robusto, Corona and Toro size, all in boxes of 25 cigars.
“We wanted to create a premium brand that was attractive in appearance, approachable in flavour, and affordable in price,” said Terence Reilly, vp of sales and marketing for AGANORSA Leaf, in a press release. “Most of our portfolio is too intense for beginners or those who simply prefer a mild smoke. New Cuba Superior was crafted to satisfy this segment of the market.”
