Lovely Cigars Honors Green Bay’s Cigar History with Release of No. 162

July 7, 2023 Inspector Y 1 min read

Lovely Cigars is a cigar company based in Wisconsin and they are releasing their second cigar, the No. 162, to pay tribute to Green Bay and its history of cigars. The No. 162 is named after Local 162, which was the union representing Green Bay’s cigar rollers. The cigars are made at Tacasa S.A. in Nicaragua with an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Sumatra binder and fillers from Nicaragua. The cigars will come in a robusto, corona and Churchill size. Lovely Cigars will premiere the cigars at the PCA Convention & Trade Show.

Three Green Bay locals, and cigar aficionados, founded Lovely Cigars in 2019 and they are using the history of cigars in Green Bay as its inspiration. The name comes from the Ain’t They Lovely cigar brand that was once made in Green Bay, more than a century ago.
